By downloading, installing, or using Chess Clock ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Chess Clock is a mobile application that provides chess game timing functionality. The App includes features such as multiple time control formats, game history tracking, and game analytics.
3. License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.
4. User Responsibilities
- Use the App only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Not use the App in any way that could damage or overburden our systems
- Not redistribute, sell, or sublicense the App
5. Intellectual Property
The App and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by LugDev and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. We do not warrant that timer accuracy will be suitable for official tournament use.
7. Tournament Use Disclaimer
While the App provides accurate timing functionality, it is intended for casual and club play. For official FIDE or rated tournaments, dedicated hardware chess clocks are recommended.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LugDev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or us. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
